Top Gear Mini Run (Dunsfold, UK)

Mini2.com organised a meeting down at the home of Top Gear studios in Dunsfold. After an eary start from Leeds (420am) to meet up with a few friends for the trip down, we travelled in convoy down to the airfield. A few of the larger tuning companies were present including GT Tuning, with their new 300bhp Turbo converted Mini Cooper S, which featured some huge Porsche Brakes and some very nice Sparco seats.

Once everyone had arrived groups of 20 cars at a time were taken onto the track famously used on the TV series, led by a pace car. This meant the pace wasnt full race speed but was fast enough to get a bit of tyre squeal! Each group got roughly 5 laps. This was followed by a raffle where sponsors of the event had provided some good prizes including xenon lights and strut braces!
